My interest and passion for the art started from an early age. It was the one outlet that allowed me to express myself without any inhibitions, and a way for my creativity to transcend the barriers of culture and age. As I grew older, my interests began to broaden. I feel that my love for drawing is not contrary to my spiritual path. In fact, the two complement each other. As I grow spiritually, I find that my creative energy has also transformed. I am able to take the ineffable and manifest it through my illustrations in a way that reaches out to people.
For the past four years I have been a PhD Art researcher in Cambridge School of Art (Anglia Ruskin University), Cambridge UK, with the thesis title "Creative Practice-led Investigation into the Picturebook as a Medium for Introducing Children to Meditation".
I also obtained an MA in Illustration from Kingston University, London UK as well as an MA in Communication Design (Illustration) from the Graduate School of Arts and Design, SangMyung University, Seoul.
I have done illustrating for ISeek Publishing (UK), Samsung Publishing, Haebub Edu, JEI, Glbburi Publishing. Hankook Tire Company Magazine and Korean Nation Trust Inc.
